We Know Personal Injury,
and We Know Texas.
Biography
“Our clients come to us because they don’t want what has happened to them to happen to another family. They want a system that is accountable to the patient. We work hard to pursue that goal, get fair compensation for our clients and make the medical professional more responsible to the patient. That creates success for us all.”
Jay’s reputation in the personal injury world is unmatched. He has gained the respect of colleagues and adversaries with his tireless efforts to help those who have been injured because of negligence and medical malpractice.
Jay understands that thorough, hard work is the key to helping his clients win against difficult odds. From injuries caused by health care professionals to those catastrophically damaged by the negligence of others, Jay empathizes with his clients and aggressively pursues their rights.
Jay is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Certification as a trial specialist in Personal Injury Trial Law. Board certification is reserved for only the most experienced trial lawyers.
For decades, Jay has fought to improve the laws that impact patients and workers and their rights in Texas. Jay Harvey is past president of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and remains active in the organization. In 2023, Jay received the Champion of Justice award, presented by Texas Watch, a non-partisan citizen advocacy organization dedicated to ensuring that insurance companies and other corporations are accountable to their customers.
